# Brio 0.8.0.11 is now out Earlier today I was made aware that there where some PRs made to Brio in March that likely contained code generated by an AI. This update removed that code. Because of this, some features that existed no longer do - The option to disable the scroll wheel was removed - The option to automatically select the model transform on actor selection was removed Any other remaining code in the PRs have already rewritten or removed by me personally in the process of making 0.8.0 Additionally, the individual who submitted the code will be unable to submit anymore code to Brio and following this announcement I will put a pause on accepting pull requests while I implement a CLA (Contributor license agreement) that everyone will have to sign before any code is pulled into the project that will clearly state that any code in a commit that was made by them and was not AI generated, and, a more thorough process on reviewing individuals who do submit pull requests in the future I am sorry I missed this, I am terribly disappointed in myself for letting this happen, If it was not clear it is Brio's policy to have no AI generated code in it at all ever, I will make this more clear in more places moving forward, and I took great pride that Brio had no AI code in it, I am sorry I missed this so badly, so I can only imagine how some of you are disappointed in me. A few days ago a vulnerability was found (credit to 'Drovolon' over at Lightless) with the original Mare server software that would let anyone spoof and login with another user's UID. This vulnerability has been fixed and deployed in Lightless, Playersync, Snowcloak and Laci (Laci server operators please update your servers). While this vulnerability may have been fixed on sync services not listed here, please exercise caution with any services you connect to and ensure that it has before using said service. There should be no cause for a panic and there is no action necessary by users, but I do feel it's the honest thing to reveal the vulnerability, not just for anyone using Mare's server in the future, but also for disclosure to the community (please be normal about it, thanks!)
Brio 0.7.2.3 is now out I fixed the prop spawning with a weapon, and the weapon not loading with a pose thing. (They were the same bug) Also, as I didn't make an announcement for it, Brio 0.7.2.2 Fix limbs becoming noodles sometimes (fixed, again, for the 300th time)
Hello. While we are getting Customize+ update ready (which Is going to be available soon, I promise!), I would like to quickly talk about something we have encountered during this update cycle that is going to be an issue once people start installing new Customize+ update. We have encountered an unusually high amount of people spreading and using non-official builds of Customize+ before it was ready for release this time around. I completely understand eagerness to get your WoLs to look like you are used to seeing them. If I were you I'd feel the same. But... All of those builds were either based on the proposed code which was not ready for the release or were modified using vibecoding techniques (AI). At least some of those versions are confirmed to modify Customize+ configuration data in a way not compatible with the official plugin. Additionally some versions are known to crash other people when used with character synchronization plugins. During the past several days we have repeatedly used various communication channels to warn players about possible issues related to using third party modifications of Customize+. Therefore we ask you to refrain from asking for any help or reporting any issues if you have used unofficial builds of Customize+ in any capacity. That includes forks, your own builds based on code from the official repository, etc. For the time being we also ask you to not report crashes related to Customize+ when using any synchronization plugins no matter if you have used unofficial Customize+ builds or not.
