The painting depicts three small boats in the foreground with a fishing village-like string of houses in the background plus one modern sctracture in the upper right corner of the painting. The painting is done in impasto oil-on-board technique. The painting measures 30x40 cm.

Medieval church council painted in gouache: the King sits on the trone, as if presiding over the event, while to his left stands a bishop whispering something to him as they both look over several priests in solemn prayer or debate. One priest in the foeegrownd is writing notes into a thick book.
