Wow, this is very interesting! Just its existence alone is saying something. What they've chosen to prioritize and optimize is, in a word, insightful. Excited to see what this might mean for the future
if theyre gonna start calling data pack + resource pack bundles "mods" they gotta make them easier to install imo
I would put this terminology of it being a "Java mod" down to the marketing team not understanding the system very well.
The pack itself is pretty neat! You can craft magic paintings and it creates a link to a random location. After entering it shows a custom texture based on the biome!
