Fun fact: This was M. I. Verras’ great-uncle’s mansion. It was built in 1870 and was abandoned around 1954, when her great-uncle passed away. M. I. Verras entered the mansion and explored it. It has been a major source of inspiration for her book and her artwork. #victorianera #abandonedmansion
