When Lou's demands go too far, Charlie resorts to extreme measures to get a handle on their own powers. Though crossing state lines to meet strangers from the internet might seem like a great idea, Charlie's literal road trip to self-discovery sets them and everyone they love on a collision course with a dark family legacy not even their mom's Toyota can outrun. Publication is scheduled for Winter 2026; Lee O'Brien at Looking Glass Literary and Media negotiated the deal.

a member of my chorus went to renew their passport today, and not only were they denied the ability to change their gender marker, they were told by the passport authority that they had to confiscate it
"until the legislation being written on them goes through."

They also told him that the same policy goes for any identification documents.

"The agent told me that this should be expected for any governmental agency: Passports, driver licenses, name changes, adoptions, etc.. They also said that anyone with a gender marker of

"X" will be detained at borders, and public intrastate transportation."
