I think I would rather their actual experience be limited to Call of Duty and the odd weekend of Airsoft in a field outside Redcar before we try and form them into an well regulated militia...
Huge decline in working mens clubs, snooker halls and other social spaces as landlords sold up or cashed in on other uses for buildings that were more profitable. There doesn't appear to be room in towns and cities now for social club spaces. Landlords would rather leave a unit vacant.
I'm hearing how ICE is getting recruited in the USA, attacking and terrifying people who aren't white (including citizens), and I can imagine how delighted similar thugs in the UK would be to get an official uniform and legitimacy I know you're joking but maybe recalibrate a little?
