Gerrit Cole begged to stay in. The decision did not work. Max Muncy took him deep into the second deck to spoil what was a good outing from Cole. I agree with the decision from Boone, but it looked like Muncy struck out on pitch four, but the Yankees did not use their ABS, and Cole hung a slider.
