Historian, potter, designer, pianist, and other crafty things. Currently challenging myself with new pottery designs with double walled vessels and carvings.

This is a video of two hands manipulating a pottery spoonrest. This is done while the clay is leather hard. There is a black outline of a bird and the right hand is using a tool to scratch away the black transfer to create a design. Over the three minutes of the video designs of leaves and flowers appear on the bird. At the end the final product is revealed. The bird is black with a cream design.
