Ink comic of Flannel and Mole: 1. Nel is stepping out of their train, still putting on his jacket. "'Morning! Thanks for making breakfast." Mole calls back over his shoulder "g'morning! Don't thank me, it was just my turn." 2. Nel sits down with a plate and notices something about Mole, who is about to take a big bite of his own breakfast. 3. "Hey, c'mon Moley" Mole looks to the sheep questioningly while stuffing the bite into his mouth. Nel continues, "why hide your nose around me? I know that's uncomfortable for you. 4 & 5. Mole thinks about it for a moment while chewing his food, then answers "I... Don't know. Habit?" 6. Mole asks back "Why do you hide your sheep eyes around me?" Nel looks genuinely put out by the question. 7 & 8 & 9. "Well, I..." Nel founders, struggling to find an answer. Suddenly realizing that Mole has his eyes closed, he starts to ask "Wait! How did you...?" but Mole interrupts "Don't change the subject." Nel fiddles with his fork irritably, hunting for a good reason. 10. Flannel shrugs uncertainly and unsatisfyingly responds "I guess round pupils just feel more true to me now??" Mole interjects "didn't you tell me keeping them round gives you headaches?" Nel groans back "... Sometimes??" 11. Nel sets his food aside and wistfully rests his chin on his hoof hands. "... I guess we're both a little beaten into shape by society's expectations, huh?" Mole cheerfully quips back "Speak for yourself, I just forgot you were cool for a minute."

A pen & ink comic starring Flannel the sheep and Mole the mole: 1. Flannel is leaning back against the side of a machine while Mole is shutting a panel. Flannel asks "So? What've we got here?" Mole replies back with a smirk "You won't believe it..." Flannel shoots back "Try me." 2. Mole says "It's combustion powered." Flannel perks, then mellows back down, seemingly thinking Mole is having a lark, and challenges them with "... oh really?" 3. Mole continues while Flannel listens with growing interest "Hybrid, to be exact. Diesel-electric. Basically, combustion turbine to electric motors" 4. Flannel leans toward Mole "Wait... You're *serious*??" Mole responds plainly "ye." 5 & 6. Flannel stares down at Mole in disbelief, then up at the machine, stunned. 7. Staring up at the machine looming over them, Flannel croaks out a quiet "I don't believe it..." Mole readily quips back "Told ya~"

Comic of Mole the mole and Nel the sheep having a dinner outside, illuminated by a lantern: 1. Mole looks over to Nel who is gazing at the stars and asks "sooo... let's say you could have anything..." 2 & 3. Nel contemplates for a moment and replies "I don't know... A nice home? A safe place where everyone has enough, and can live their best lives?" He looks down to Mole with a hopeful smile. "I kinda just want the best for everyone, to be honest." 4. Mole teases "kinda soft wish, not gonna lie." "It's surprisingly controversial," Nel quips back. "I guess," Mole yields. "What's your wish, then?" Nel asks sarcastically. 5. Mole plucks a squishy dumpling up with his digits. "Truly, I just want to try dumplings pan fried over *fire* - I'm sick of steamed!" Nel perks up at the suggestion. 6. A wide angle shot of the pair wrapping up their meal as Nel shoots back "oh, that's big fair! I change my answer to that!"

(Nel has added a small service window to do business out of.) There are some faint sketches of the interior and Nel leaning out of the service windows on the next page
