When I need more space or find a deal, I swap out the smallest disks for the largest I can reasonably buy. This unlocks the unused size on all the others. Notice how ZFS is treating this as a 8x 8T z2 pool, despite spinning 96T. If I upgrade the 8T, it becomes a 8x 10T z2 pool.
