The deal is, Iran agrees to accept the US's surrender. Iran now owns the strait of Hormuz and taxes it; it wasn't owned by anyone in February. Also sanctions on Iran will presumably be lifted. Iran will probably get a load of money (their impounded assets and other money) but that's disputed.
