If you want some good Irish themed boardgames I’d suggest Irish mythology strategy game ‘Inis’ with stunning art from Jim Fitzpatrick. ‘Brian Boru’ is a cool trick taking area control game and ‘Irish Guage’ is about buying stocks in railroad companies with art by Irish artist Ian O’Toole.
