The film does a good job of introducing the mirror’s distortion prowess before it unleashes it in a manner that will make your head spin a bit.

At the center of the film is two people dealing with their familial trauma that serves as an ultimately tragic through line. It’s a fun movie overall, even when it becomes a little confusing which, for me, enhanced the mirror’s effects.
