“It's always your choice, Bez,” Dream says sternly. Bez looks to these identical faces that look nothing alike and sighs.

“Please get it over with. I can’t listen to you two discuss magical fucking ultrasounds a moment longer.”

“As you wish,” they say in awkward unison. He hopes he isn’t making a mistake as Other Dream presses a knee to the couch and leans over him. Bez flinches and closes his eyes, suddenly feeling very overwhelmed with the smell of cinnamon-soaked leather coming from the warm lap below and the warm chest above. It’s too hot between the two of them and their powers are buzzing around his body in an invisible tug-of-war. Bez wants to tell them to stop but his throat feels like it’s being coated in layers of paint and like his voice is being dragged out of him. He blinks his eyes back open to see the magic rope snaking its way towards his chest and the moment—fucking hell what is that—it stabs into him like fangs.
