I just did two jackets

Edit: Forgot the first step! First, add a 1/2" onto
your shoulder where the shoulder meets the
sleeve.

When drafting, raise the shoulder tip to the height
of your planned shoulder pad (1/4 or 1/2, etc),
Zero into where your shoulder begins and voila!
Be sure to raise the cap the same distance and
zero out into your notches

So, come out a half inch, mark a half inch above
that and then redraw your shoulder seam back
into your original neck.

If you're doing facing, do not include the raised
pattern portion into the facing, just use your
original draft. Same for lining. Hope this helps,
let me know if you want me to draw it out on
paper."
