A very long explanation as to why not to use BetterHelp. They are well known to take your money, do nothing, and keep the money after telling you they were unable to find you a therapist. They also don’t vet any of the people they have answering calls, so the people they have on their call lines are untrained and don’t actually care. There are so many horrific stories out of BetterHelp; please don’t rely on them in a time of crisis.
