I suppose that most people are more familiar with pet dogs than falconry and therefore calling a dehumanized mech pilot a "hound" is more immediately evocative than calling it a "hawk", but you gotta admit the vibe of a handler as falconer and the pilots as birds of prey absolutely slaps. If anybody does something like mechsploitation but with SF fighter jets instead of giant robots, pleeease call the pilots hawks. Hello, I too don't have a microwave (for fear of radiation poisoning, as others have pointed out). Can I airfry the iOpener to 70 degrees? Kenlee - Nov 29, 2022
A comment in the iFixit iOpenner Page: I do not have a microwave because I think it is unhealthy for food preparation. When I need fastfood I often just eat raw fruit which is much faster, healtier, and tastier than most microwave foods. Does the iOpener Heating also work when it is baked in a frying pan? R de Bruin - Mar 10, 2018 A reply: Hello! Thanks for the good question. Actually we dissuade from using a frying pan to heat the iOpener because the coating would melt. Instead, use a saucepan filled with cold water and heat it on the stove. But be very careful not to overheat the iOpener and not to hurt yourself handling with the hot iOpener! You can do as well without iOpener and alternatively use a hairdryer to heat directly the device you want to open. Good fix! Claire Miesch - Mar 15, 2018
