Howdy everyone. I know I have been streaming even less than usual. I'm sure you're curious about what's up with that and when you'll get to see your favorite fox plushie again. The short version is that I am sick. I'm not sure what's wrong with me. I have some theories based on family history and from what I've seen from people in the chronic illness and disability community who have had similar experiences to me. Essentially: I got the flu in December of 2025. Ever since then, I have felt the worst I have ever felt in my life. I'm not going to pretend I was the most healthy person prior to Dec. 2025, but I have never been this tired all the time before. I used to study full time with a 2-hour commute each way and had a part-time job on top of that and I wasn't this tired. I used to be able to work 32-40 hours a week on my feet most of the day and interacting with people all day and I wasn't this tired. Now I barely have energy to eat and shower some days; I am terrified I am only going to lose more of my function. The current sociopolitical climate in the USA is not helping. I have to remind myself that how I feel now is not normal for me so I don't feel as crazy. I don't know if I'm experiencing severe burnout or if I've developed a chronic condition or some combination of both, but I know something isn't right. I will be going to a doctor soon to try to figure this out. I haven't had insurance in years and it is incredibly expensive out of pocket, so it will take time to get answers. What does this mean for streams going forward? I will be saving my energy for my part-time job and for keeping myself alive. I will not make promises about when I will be back. I want to come back; I have stuff that's being worked on in the background that I'm excited to share with y'all. I also miss hanging out with my goobers and talking about media with y'all. Thank you for reading, and make sure to take care of yourselves and the people around you.
