RAH-66 was not exactly invisible to the naked eye, but that doesn’t mean it was not hard to spot. Its compact size, reduced canopy glint, and five-bladed rotor helped lower its visual signature by minimizing "flicker" effects. (7/17)

Stealth design paid off, far exceeding Army specs. Although exact figures remain classified, it’s estimated that radar signature was 100x lower, IR 15x lower, acoustic 6x quieter, and the visual profile was 10% smaller than existing tech. (8/17)
