I had a passing interest in Double Exposure, given it brought Max back, but without the pivotal relationship between the two, it wasn’t a priority for me. And then Life Is Strange: Reunion was announced. And with it, Max and Chloe’s story had a chance at a new ending. I immediately knew I had to play it (it was released on March 26, 2026). So I downloaded Life Is Strange: Remastered to prepare myself. I remembered the game well enough to finish quickly but also to make sure certain branches fell the way I wanted. I saved Kate, and Alyssa. I kept Frank alive. I made peace with Victoria. I tried to save everyone. But at the end, with all the benefits of age and experience, I rewrote my past and chose to doom Arcadia Bay. It took a while to understand why.
