The suggestion of "AI summaries for voice calls" has the MAJOR implication that whoever has that enabled will cause entire voice calls' worth of data and info being dug up. Let alone the security concerns, this stops feeling like another stupid big tech solution to a problem that doesn't exist, and starts feeling like an absurdly flimsy attempt at removing what little privacy we have had as people communicating with each other. And in the meantime, the features we Actually need, such as performance and consistency improvements on the Android app are still significantly slower relative to features which a lot of users will opt out of, and quite frankly, an insignificant minority would opt In if it was a feature introduced without automatically turning itself on. This app does not need, and its user base does not want tech bros spoiling it even further with "AI" features."
