MrCheeze @mrcheeze.github.io · May 15 Claude has the same strange delusion that Gemini had when it reached this spot in another run. He believes that defeating NPCs should cause them to no longer obstruct the exact tile they are standing on, and if they obstruct that one tile, then the entire path is blocked. Why do LLMs think this?

Probably confusing the line of sight thing. "You can pass by trainers after you defeat them" or something like that.
Spoke too soon when I said he'd be solving the fourth puzzle quickly. He got the boulder in the hole alright, but has not considered for even a millisecond that there might be a switch he needs to push it onto, and is instead obsessing over a direct path to the ladder.
