depends on the tm, id say. gen 1 has pretty limited pc storage and some of those tms are outright useless, a lot of times i end up just tossing em rather than bothering to sell them for peanuts
(also still no items, he talked to one NPC and when they weren't a cashier made a permanent note that there is no mart)
