A view of my drawing desk today, as I work on a continuing set of pen and ink landscape drawings. The photo shows a wooden desk top. On it are a closed laptop, an open sketchbook showing two pen drawing of a boardwalk disappearing ahead through trees and bushes, and, scattered all around it, approximately 20 Uni-pin fineliner pens, and a few other items like pencils and an eraser.
A 32 page concertina sketchbook opened out and stood up on a dining room table. Each page has a black and white pen drawing representing a drawn walk on the Hinksey Heights Nature Trail, near Oxford (UK), where the artist has been working as a volunteer for the past five years to restore and develop several miles of trail paths and boardwalks.
