I installed Bitdefender this week, an anti-malware tool. As a product, this is full of flags that in fact *teach users to trust malware*. Let's say you're told to install Bitdefender—this happens… I know people think stuff like this is just marketing, but it's UI. It enables other scams to thrive.

That “MAC” usage always gets under my skin (similar to saying “for Mac” instead of “for macOS” or “for the Mac”).
