Collectors place a lot of trust in grading services. You need to trust that the grading service is accurate. You also need to trust that the grading service treats your collectibles with care. And when you're building a collection with that grading service, you need to trust that your grading service will be around in the future.

Excerpt from an email from CBCS Comics pertaining to their comic grading business: “As part of our strategy to focus on the Beckett brand, we've made the challenging decision to shut down CBCS. Effective April 17, new submissions will no longer be accepted. All existing orders, and any submissions received by that date, will continue through the grading process as normal.”
I’m sad and angry, but also not surprised, that Starfleet Academy has been canceled. Hate mongers and low viewership aside, there were signs that troubles were ahead, from David Ellison’s Skydance Media acquisition of Paramount and now Warner Bros. Discovery and licensing fees for Trek merch being increased by as much as 1200% to the policies at Paramount that contradicts everything Star Trek stands for and no active production going on following filming of Starfleet Academy’s second season and Strange New Worlds’ fifth season. And to drop this stinger less than two weeks before First Contact Day and on the 60th anniversary of Star Trek feels like a gut punch. It’s hard to be optimistic on the future of Star Trek at the moment with how real world events are going right now, but as long as there are dedicated Trekkies out there who not only continue to support the franchise, but also spread the message of Gene Roddenberry’s vision for the kind of future we can aspire to see if we put our differences aside and work together for the benefit of everyone, then Star Trek will always live long and prosper. 🖖

In the second to the last page of chapter 214 of DanDaDan, the amnesia stricken Momo walks away from Okarun, Aira, Jiji and Kinta after they failed to provide proof of the supernatural and extraterrestrial, which was only exasperated by Aira and Kinta’s attempt to plant false memories about their relationship with her and Okarun. As Momo walks away, now feeling like the social outcast much like Okarun prior to his first meeting with Okarun in chapter 1, she’s internally saying “Something is seriously bothering me…” “What is this feeling?” “It’s like I feel totally left out…” “I mean, what is this? Seriously!” “Damn it!” and then all of a sudden, a voice from someone off panel says “Miss Momo Ayase.”
