The once cacophony and endless hustle of traffic, going to and fro, to do this or that, in their endless, perceived meaningful, daily cycle, now silenced. Their own quietus they doth made, caused by their thousand little cuts with their self created, many bare bodkins of their own hubris, shortsightedness. Now, this world, the endless bounty of life that shared their existence on this home, in the healing of their own collaterally dealt wounds and scars caused by the selfishness of just one of the lifes that inhabited this realm, does what it always has done: continues on. Doing so from its ability to do what man could not, in order to maintain and sustain its very own continued existence - adapt, change, evolve, grow. And now life, the world, gets to do so in quiet, peace, free from the now absent one species, that negligently went about destroying them all
Sometimes we try new things Exploring Pushing the boundaries not knowing where our experiments will lead In fact maybe even throwing caution to the wind Disregarding judgement, we know to be sound, to just see what it may be like What will happen Choosing to ignore reason to what may lie ahead if perhaps it becomes too much Control is lost and with it so are we as we are pulled into this whole other reality putting our lives, world, existence in a spin a whirlwind from which we’ll have to struggle to escape from
I saw the yellow lettered sign on the pole from across a parking lot, and where I also took it from... I just liked how it looked against the complimentary colored wall behind it, so is why I took it Looking at the image in post, and seeing what it was the sign actually read, I was confused... huh? What? Oh, maybe it's GRAD and the sign just fell upside down. No, wait, that letter "after" the upside down G, is not a R... it looks like a K Wait, also the first two letters are upside down to the last two letters... what the heck?! So, just got me curious as to what the letters stood for... so, looked up CAKG... nope, nothing... CAGK? Chinese American Association of Greater Kalamazoo... well, no... not in Michigan GKCA? George Kendagor Christian Academy? No, not in Kenya ... Several advisors, accountants... but, no seen affiliation with Birmingham GKAC? Give Kids A Chance? Says it is based in Miami... but, may have a branch here in Birmingham... ? GKAC? Gotta Kill A Cop by Your Old Droog? Yeah, I don't know... I am perplexed as to what the series of letters represents... but, am gonna go with the last... and is perhaps a local band or something
