AI moderation was a mistake. Initially on Twitter I was seeing many accounts get hit for PS4 and PS5 modding related posts, as of now I've seen one for Switch and another here for Xbox One/Series. Initially I believed (and still do) it was mass reporting, now it looks like rogue moderation.

I too believe AI is behind this. For the case of Playstation scene accounts each posts that had the word 'jailbreak' in it were the ones that got flagged.

this is less of an issue with AI moderation and more of an issue with poorly done AI moderation the alternative to AI moderation on a large platform is a bunch of overworked T&S workers who will inevitably get exposed to mentally scarring content

i got unbanned but the second i logged in i was locked because i had 4 pending strikes lmao. they had lifted a perm suspension and said i was all good. yeah ok. im sitting in another appeal but this time told them to unflag the account so it stops happening but we will see.

Again, AI moderation was a mistake, and I don't trust Twitter's moderation in general. The above removed tweet was deemed problematic, yet I've seen physical threats of violence be reported, reviewed, and deemed to be acceptable for the platform 🤷‍♂️
