Yeah I feel like this advertisement was meant to get people to opt in: "Share your ring footage, save a puppy" (Meanwhile pretty sure Ring sells its footage to ICE and local PD). Cause, doncha know, it's not "officially" a 4th amendment violation if they buy the data. Disgusting use of puppies.
