Here's What We Won: Labor Solidarity. Our contract expires on May Day 2028. The UAW has issued a call for unions across the country to align their contract expiration dates around International Workers Day in 2028 to maximize solidarity and leverage in contract negotations across various sectors. We’re proud to join this movement!
Here's What We Won: More Security & Fairness. A completely reformulated promotion process, with promotions received and/or requested at any time. Probationary periods eliminated and standardized to a six-month "orientation period." M+R assistance with visas. Formalized staffing reassignment requests, with denials provided in writing.
Here's What We Won: More Security and Fairness. No more PIPs! More severance pay for layoffs, including base 6 weeks’ pay + more based on tenure, and 3 months of paid COBRA. No union employees will be laid off in favor of contractors. Generative AI protections — Agreement that it is a tool, not a replacement for staff, and no union employees will be laid off in favor of generative AI.
Here’s what we won: Reclaiming Our Time. A Reduced workweek of 36 hours — with no core / mandatory hours on Fridays, giving flexibility to work four 9-hour days with Fridays off or four 8-hour days with half day Fridays. Firmwide closure the week of July 4th. Indigenous Peoples’ Day as a holiday. More paid parental leave — up from 12 to 20 weeks, with an additional 36 hours of prenatal or fertility care leave, and 6 weeks of abortion and stillbirth leave.
Here's what we won: Wages That Work For Today. Annual 5% raises and higher salary tier minimums. Increase in automatic 401K contributions, up to 4.5% automatic contributions. 4% longevity raises every other year after 2 years in position. Increased yearly education and growth grants -- from $1000 per employee to $1250 per employee. And a one-time 3% contract ratification bonus.
