I have friends who refused to watch it the whole way because the first few episodes are such a slow build (like, they didn’t even get to the reveal) and there’s no way to explain the absolute beauty of the finale so they know what they missed without spoiling all the rest.

I knew I wasn’t going to be able to break down during my grandmother’s funeral, as I had to sing the Lord’s Prayer setting her daughter wrote for her. So I watched this episode before the service and did all my crying beforehand.
