Coastal flooding has been observed at several observation stations along the Louisiana coast west of the Mississippi River. Minor to moderate coastal flooding upwards of 1 to 2 feet is expected during the high tide cycle this morning. Light rainfall is occurring with this storm over land areas though localized brief heavy rainfall will be possible, mainly this morning for coastal areas of Mississippi and southeast Louisiana. The threat of excessive rainfall has decreased across all of southeast Louisiana and south Mississippi.
