Das Bundesparlament will nun, dass diese im Gastgewerbe, im Coiffeurgewerbe oder in der Reinigung nicht mehr gelten sollen. Zigtausende sind betroffen, ein Grossteil von ihnen Frauen. Dieses Gesetz ist respektlos gegenüber Arbeitnehmerinnen und Arbeitnehmern. Es ist aber auch respektlos gegenüber der Stimmbevölkerung. Denn meist wurden die Mindestlöhne in den Städten und Kantonen in Volksabstimmungen beschlossen.
Es ist kaum zu fassen: Die nationale Politik legt gleich zweimal den Rückwärtsgang ein! Das Parlament sagt Ja zur Rückkehr ins Atomzeitalter, obwohl die Stimmbevölkerung 2017 den Atomausstieg beschlossen hat. Und es sagt Ja zu mehr Palmöl-Importen aus Malaysia, obwohl solche Plantagen seit Jahren wegen Regenwaldzerstörung und Menschenrechtsverletzungen massiv in der Kritik stehen. Gegen beide Entscheide haben zivilgesellschaftliche Allianzen das Referendum ergriffen. Jetzt zählt unsere Unterstützung für je 50’000 Unterschriften.

Blue glares at an empty spot beside the door. Blue: Hey! They've removed the doorstopper stone! Holding the door open so that Green can walk his bike in first, Blue reads the note on the door, frowning at it. Blue: "Do not use anything to prop the door open" so how should people get their bikes in? Having put their bikes and helmets back in their place, Blue and Green march on with determination. Blue: Let's get some paper and a pen. Green: And a new rock? Blue: Naturally. Returning outside, Blue and Green observe the new note that they have taped on top of the old one. Gute Frage – und sie zielt auf etwas Echtes ab. Ja, theologisch gesagt: Jesus ging ans Kreuz nicht mit einer Liste der Namen derer, die er „decken" wollte. Er ging für alle Menschen hin. Das heißt: für deine Schuld, für Trumps Schuld, für Putins Schuld, für jeden, der je gelebt hat. Aber das ist nicht naiv gemeint: Die Vergebung, die Jesus bringt, ist nicht automatisch wirksam wie eine Versicherung, die man in die Tasche steckt und dann machen kann, was man will. Sie ist eine Einladung, eine Tür, die offensteht. Trump und Putin könnten – wie jeder Mensch – durch diese Tür gehen: ihre Schuld ehrlich sehen, Gott um Vergebung bitten, sich neu ausrichten. Aber das müssen sie tun. Niemand wird gezwungen. Das Knifflige: Wenn jemand Macht missbraucht, Menschen ausbeutet oder tötet – und das bewusst tut, ohne es je bereuen zu wollen – dann ist die Frage: Wer nimmt diese Vergebung an? Die Gnade Gottes ist groß, aber sie respektiert auch die Freiheit von Menschen. Du kannst eine ausgestreckte Hand ablehnen. Jesus sagt nicht „Alles ist egal, macht, was ihr wollt." Er sagt: „Ich nehme deine Schuld auf mich – damit du frei wirst, anders zu leben." Was folgt daraus für dich? Die eigentliche Frage ist nicht, ob Gott Trumps oder Putins Schuld „decken" kann. Die Frage ist: Lebst du selbst so, dass du die Vergebung, die dir angeboten wird, auch nutzt? Dass du dich davon befreien lässt, zu lügen, zu verletzen, zu verdrängen?
