Evil attempted to destroy the world 5000 years prior to the events of The Fifth Element, possibly multiple times - and perhaps even causing the Moon to form around Earth. In the Divine language, the word 'Mondoshawan' translates as 'guardians'.

It's a red Mini Moke with a white roo bar, white roll bars, wheels and mirrors. We're looking at it from front right. It's sat on a wood floor in front of a brick wall with structural steel girders showing. There's a few other cars in the background so I'm assuming this is a museum somewhere. I should probably go read more on it, but a Mini Moke seems, to me, to basically be an old-school Mini's engine and running gear surrounded with the least number of flimsy sheet metal panels required to keep its occupants (up to 4) off the ground. The genuinely look like I'd put them together in a shed. Doors and roofs are for pussies obviously, so we're not bothering with those. One of our road trains could run over a Mini Moke and the driver probably wouldn't even notice.

I'm only waiting for one parcel I know about and that's some glasses which seem to be still in Sydney. Turns out I can't wear just readers and do actually need the expensive multifocals so they had to go back for new lenses. Seem to be taking an age tbh. You see, my new desk has glorious natural light which is unfortunately making my Transitions auto-darkening lenses go dark so I can't see the screen. The man comes to install the blinds tomorrow which may help. Bet the glasses arrive tomorrow as well lol. Anyway, today's delivery will be a surprise.

It's the trousered legs of a gentleman. we're looking down at them as he's sat on a company-coloured office chair on a boring AF grey carpet. He has his comfy but tatty inside brown boots on. The right one is nearly wound round his colleague's electrical power lead and he has reminded himself to sort that out. It's the cheapest mailbox that Bunnings sell. On top of the cheapest post that Bunnings sell. Secured using the cheapest bolts that Bunnings sell. BUT the stickers showing "62A", worth about $2.50 were accidentally shoplifted from Bunnings. I don't feel bad about it. Was an honest mistake and I've spent thousands there over the years. A weathered sign on the shoulder of a road in Western Australia (so obviously the sky is a pure, cloudless delight). It's a blue Esky made by Willow. They're like your basic level Esky found in supermarkets and the like. BUT this one seems to have 3 yellow plastic sticks vertically at one end (the fold down flat when not needed). What could they be for? It's not superbowl, that's for sure.

Slightly muted colours on a black background. Some sparkly gold threads in there. When I saw them I just couldn't not buy them. Size EU43. I have oddly short toes and a high instep and it's a nightmare to find that shoes that fit, but ankle boots seem more forgiving. Let's hope these are good. Am working from home tomorrow so can pad about in the house with them on.

The price of the hot chooks is a good example of the shrinkflation they're (rightly) under the microscope for atm. Not sure on Woollies, but Coles have a policy that if they have no chooks ready when you go in, you can get a voucher for a free one next time. So always worth checking if they have any, even if that's not what you went in for. This meal is a great "fuck it I'm not cooking tonight" way of feeding the family.
It's a bottle of Single Fin beer held aloft by me while barbecuing some chicken. We are ridiculously beautiful clear blue sky and a tree canopy in the background. It's in the low 40's Celsius. Which means I haven't been outside as much as I would have liked. Beach day tomorrow, hopefully. But my mate's headed up north for the week and a piece of technology at his house has gone offline so I do need to pop round there at some point. He has a HUGE pool and a fridge full of beer though.

It's a small black pan. Possibly called a milk pan? It's on a gas stove and has tipped over and is resting on its handle as the handle is too heavy. There's other kitchen stuff lying around.
It's a corner of my desk. Cable managment is ATROCIOUS. But it's a temporary setup as we'll be moving house soon. All the various audio, USB, charging and power cables are black. Apart from the bit of yellow network cable we can see. It's a fucking disgrace. Behind the desk is a bookshelf and we can see some books. AND a small ziplock bag of 1cm pink axolotls I stick in fun places around town. The little blue plastic box houses all my loyalty and library cards and that kind of thing.

The 3xxx busses are new and still have that new smell. This driver is "keen" and it's quite a jerky ride. I will be getting off at KFC soon. A 4 year old girl and a 11 year old boy. Boy's not mine, a friend's kid.
