Join us for two days of community building, gardening, food, music, and connection as we come together to create a shared community garden space at the Honeycomb Wellness Collective in Youngstown.
This project is about more than planting food. It’s about building stronger neighborhoods rooted in mutual aid, sustainability, food access, and collective care. Together we can create spaces where community members support one another, share resources, and build a healthier future for everyone.
🧤 BRING IF YOU CAN:
• Work gloves
• Gardening tools
• Seeds or starter plants
• Water bottle
• Lawn chairs or blankets
• Shelf-stable food donations for local Freedom Pantries
During the build days we will be:
🌻 Building raised garden beds
🌱 Planting vegetables, herbs, fruits & flowers
🍔 Hosting a community BBQ
🔥 Gathering around the bonfire
🤝 Connecting with neighbors & volunteers
🥫 Supporting local mutual aid & pantry initiatives
