Post mostly from hiking in the Balsfjord area.

This is where I decided to turn around. Both sides where starting to get steep and the weather forecast told of rain in a few hours. Something that turned out to be true, Glad I didn't push thru the last part, even if the topp was right in front of me after the four hours it took to get there.
First a quick hike up to Stavbergan. Karita sensing some animal further down
Great weather today for a hike. West side of Perstinden in Balsfjord.
Working all easter. managed to sneak in some skiing at the end of easter together with my mom. Mom adding some ski wax to her skii's.
Carpet at work have patterns that looks like faces. Happy halloween.
A bit hard to see, beneath the sun is bergnesset where they produce fish feed. The smoke from the fabric are the two lines under the sun.
A little bit above the tree line. The steep side of the mountain already strating to get covered in snow.

Starting point is Dollarhaugen (rough translation it means Dollartop). Up to Holmvass, over to Kistefjell and from there up to a flat area without name. After that it was down a vally and up the montainside of Rasmusstinden where a trail connects.
Getting close to civilisation again. Montains pictured are part of the #lyngenalps.
Looking at the backside where the ridge is. Glaciers on each side.
It is still possible to see where the grass is cut off.
