It was the Firecracker 4 & 8 mile run near Omaha, Nebraska. We had only done 5Ks (3.1 miles) until now, so this was a big step up for us. Especially the last long uphill stretch. 👇

But we did it! I came in 1st in my age group, and William got 2nd in his! 🥇 🥈 We are so grateful for the support of my dad Calvin (in the picture), grandma, and nephew. They cheered us on all the way! 👇
