I spotted this X3 on the Vineyard, Abingdon last weekend It turns out to be a nice little milestone 🚌⚡ Electric buses are now used on the X3, especially at weekends and for part-day running We already have the 35, but it’s good to see electric buses appearing more often on the X3 too

The X3 route hasn’t gone fully electric yet. The A34 express section is still tough on battery usage, so electric buses can’t currently run the full route all day It means the cleaner, quieter bus technology that has already made a difference in Oxford is beginning to reach outside the city as well

If only it linked New Marston up to the railway station it would be perfect.

I'm impressed at how fast these changes continue to be rolled out. It really doesn't seem that long ago that being near any bus meant receiving noisy diesel pollution.
