A prayer for today: Ever present God, when the mountains shake and the waters roar and foam, help us to have faith in you. Unchanging God, when the nations are in uproar and governments totter, help us to remember that you are always with you. Loving God, when all seems to be chaos, when there is clamour in the present and uncertainty in the future, help us to be still and know that you are God. Amen.
