Drop snaps out of zoning out, realizes you're there, and makes you a lovely heart particle with magic.
The three elementals are exchanging words as they are reaping the spoils. (That is to say, they're having breakfast with the milk they got.) (No, the milk is not spoiled.) The leaf elemental introduces the water elemental to the subject it has been talking about with the fire elemental, "I've been telling Trip about Procedural Animation, and it just [occurred] to me how cool it would be if we used it in today's magic summoning." The water elemental replies, "That sounds advanced, but we can try!" This implies that the names of the water, fire, and leaf elementals are Drop, Trip, and Fall, respectively. oh and that magic is related to programming. Anyhow, the next frame shows all three standing on their respective colors on the abstract symbolic magic shape. Using magic, they summoned some purple tentacles from the center. The leaf elemental excitedly announces, "Success! It looks more alive than last time!" The fire elemental adds, "smooth." The water elemental is in a predicament.
The contents of the board are revealed. In blue text, it reads "Thank you, Trip and Fall, for the times we spent together. I care about you two. (pls don't worry me like that)." A water elemental symbol is portrayed holding a symbolic heart. It is implied that "Trip" and "Fall" are the names of the two recipient elementals, but it is not clear who is who. The narrator attempts to conclude on a lesson, "The remaining time in your friendships is unfortunately decreasing, so try to show gratitude often!" It may be best to look at this moral at face value. The word "END" is shown. (but, really, a bonus page is next.)
The door is open. The leaf and fire elementals see the water elemental holding a board. Our perspective disallows us from reading its contents yet, but the contents have caused the leaf and fire elementals to smile sincerely.
The one-sided conversation is interrupted as the door is unlocked. The fire elemental is shocked by what's inside. The leaf elemental takes a second before looking there and also finding itself shocked.
The water elemental anticipates as the other two elementals knock upon arrival with the milk... their arrival was not doubted by anyone nor anybody. Both elementals are visibly older than their counterparts in the flashbacks. The leaf and fire elemental seem to be in a one-sided conversation. The leaf elemental explains, "Which is why Inverse Kinematics are so important to Procedural Animations nowadays." The fire elemental assures the leaf elemental of the value gained from the implied word salad that proceeded sentence by uttering, "enlightening."
The water elemental gets up from its sitting position and walks off-screen. It's time to act. Scissors are used to cut cardboard. The water elemental uses a blue marker to inscribe something onto the board.
The second flashback sequence was just concluded. We are once again focusing on the water elemental of a hunched back. Upon zooming in, it does not appear to be sad, however. Reflecting on the past has inflicted some sort of positive emotion onto it.
The leaf elemental attempts to help the water and fire elementals, "hmm... Try to focus your intents on comforting the plant." The water and fire elemental reattempt their stunt, but this time, the water is tame and the leaves are growing. (Also, I want to point out my logic is that the fire element provides the light/heat energy for photosynthesis.) The leaf element exclaims with a kind face, "Great job!"
A water elemental and a fire elemental walk into a- I mean are practice magic. They aim their elemental orb of water and fire onto a plant while a leaf elemental observes from a distance. The spell they cast does not seem to have worked, for the pot is now flooded and the leaf-tops are now burnt. Both elementals stare with a minute devastation.
The same fire and water elementals have grown up a bit since last flashback. They are now both reading a book "Magic for Noobs." Then, they hold a shared elemental staff, which causes its elemental orb to shine with both water and fire.
A fire elemental and a blue elemental play a two-player game on an arcade machine. A flashback ends. We are once again looking at the blue elemental, which is still hunched back over the flashback. With no time to process, another flashback sequence is starting.
A fire elemental is a video game on an arcade machine, but the game seems to require another player. A water elemental watches from a distance. The fire elemental hands a controller to the water elemental.
This is a flashback transition. A little water elemental with its bigger water elemental is spectating a fire elemental that appears to be playing a video game on an arcade cabinet.
Water elemental sits while facing abstract magic shape on the ground. The staff has fallen and the elemental orb is off-screen. Interestingly, the water elemental has a strong hunched back, as if to imply sadness or reflection.
The staff has fallen. We continue facing the back of the water elemental that's facing the abstract shape on the ground. The elemental orb on the staff is just off screen.
Perspective change. Shown is the back of the water elemental that's facing the abstract shape on the floor while wielding its staff. ...
The water elemental heads to the abstract shape once more. This time, it sits besides it.
Paper that reads "That's too little info! Drop will worry!" in green, "groceries" in red, and "... Better" in green again. It is implied that Drop is the name of the water elemental reading it. Another paper reads in green: "Drop, we ran out of milk. We're sorry, but we can't carry out the summoning on an empty stomach! We'll be back soon. Stay Safe!" A green smiley is drawn. A red mouth is drown under the o letters of a green word, as to imply as smiley. The water elemental is relieved. It picks up its elemental staff, and the elemental orb is once again colored in blue.
Paper that reads "sorry" in red. The water elemental is worried upon reading it and drops its elemental staff. The elemental orb of the staff deactivates into default gray.
The water elemental heads away from the abstract symbols on the floor, going to the left. It stops when it reaches a table with 3 papers on it.
The water elemental is heading back towards the abstract symbol, coming from the right.
The water elemental enters a messy red room and an orderly green room. Both rooms lack their respective expected inhabitants. The key characteristics of the red room include cat posters, a gaming setup with two controllers, a plant that has withered due to fire, clothes on the floor, and a disorderly bed. The key characteristics of the green room include healthily grown plants, a detective outfit on a coat hanger, sunglasses, a bean bag chair, a guitar, and a tablet.
The water elemental disconnects from his waiting stance. It heads towards two doors, each holding symbol of either fire or leaf.
The mysterious water elemental stands on an abstract shape. It is reasonable to assume this is related to magic, because the elemental is holding a staff. ...
