At no time did any member of the Armed Forces I met say to me: “America needs less science funding.”

It was nauseating seeing the amount of anti-vaccine and COVID deniers who demanded the shot before everybody else. They reject scientific evidence, but expect its benefits.
I hope you understand that eventually the regime will come after people of high stature like you. The regime is going after ‘lower level people’ (if I can use that phrase) now & are en route to more purging & consolidation of power. I hope you are wise during these times. Stay safe. Much respect.
So sad. Only another indication this administration does not care about the population, only themselves. If Trump got cancer he would receive the best care , just like when he had COVID. Middle class citizens died by the millions and he could have cared less .

Yeah, well, when your "Commander in Chief" has a level of understanding of science wherein he believes that magnets don't work under water, that "stage 9 cancer" is a thing, and hires an anti-vaxer to head the dept. of health, you've got a big, big problem. Such a sad & frightening state of affairs

Science is the basis of all our lives. The military knows this well. And, having to go back to ground war in the Middle East has shown the need even more. Science will win all future wars!
