A poem titled "Three Little Birds" that says: There, across the ocean, he sat, statuesque, holding vigil in ponderous prayer, till the hour rose and the sun did with it. he offered a few final words: “Before closing my eyes, I respectfully plead to take a mind of com passion towards the people.” and now he’s dead. There, by my doorstep, she stood, still as a statue, holding vigil for a time, till the consulate would open up. she gave no final words, and the news gave no proof she’d ever been alive. and now she’s not. There, over yonder, he stood, statuesque. holding vigil in prayer, in protest, till our sun rose so high over-head. he said a few finals words: "I will no longer be complicit in genocide. This is what our ruling class has de cided will be normal. Free Palestine." and now he's dead.
