From https://www.destinationsjourney.com/historical-military-photographs/finnish-morko-morane-fighter-aircraft/ The Mörkö-Morane was a Finnish-engineered upgrade of the French Morane-Saulnier M.S.406 fighter during WWII. Faced with rising losses in 1942, Finnish commanders (led by Col. Richard Lorenz) decided to re-engine their obsolete Moranes with captured Soviet Klimov M-105P V-12 engines (1,100 hp) and aerodynamic refinements. Under designer Aarne Lakomaa, the first prototype (MS-631) flew on 25 January 1943. Testing in the summer and autumn of 1943 showed that the Mörkö-Morane performed far above the original. It’s top speed reached 525 km/h and climb 25 m/s. Despite these gains, the Conversion Programme was slow. Only 3 examples (including the prototype) saw combat by the September 1944 end of the Continuation War. Lieutenant Lars Hattinen, Finland’s youngest ace, scored all three of Mörkö-Morane’s air-to-air victories in mid‑1944. After the war, Finland completed all remaining conversions (totalling 41 aircraft) for training use by 1948. The last Finnish Moranes were scrapped by 1952.

Picture is showing the troop transport vehicle, a so-called LMPV (Light Multi Purpose Vehicle) which is based on a basic platform and has twelve call-off versions, where FMV has ordered flatbed trucks, troop transport vehicles and medical vehicles. The vehicles are powered by a 180 hp turbocharged common rail diesel engine (Euro III), with 430 Nm of torque (at 1500 rpm) and the power transmission is handled by an eight-speed fully automatic transmission with torque converter. Specific equipment includes solutions for obscuration, communications installations and storage of self-defense weapons and other soldier equipment. FMV will make successive deliveries to the Swedish Armed Forces. Deliveries are planned to be completed in early 2028.

From Wikipedia: The Swedish volunteers in Persia were a small group of military officers active in Persia between 1911 and 1916. The goal was to quell regional uprisings and modernize the Persian army, but as a result of pressure from Russia and the United Kingdom, Sweden decided to call back most of their officers during World War I. Background Persia was rather unstable in the early 1900s, making the roads difficult to traverse due to frequent raiding by insurgents. Because of this (and fearing British intervention), the Persian government searched for a neutral power that could help modernize and create a gendarmerie able to fight off the insurgents.[5] Sweden was considered suitable for the task and the first military officers were deployed under General Harald Hjalmarson in 1911.[6] 1911–1914 The gendarmes were put in charge of patrolling around 1,700 kilometers of road and steadily grew in number.[7] They had several run-ins with clan members and insurgents and scored many victories, even killing a local chieftain.[1] The bloodiest battles occurred in Kazerun in 1914 when several gendarmes died fighting under Josef Pousette (who had been injured fighting against insurgents in Tehran).[7][6][8] The Swedes also conducted several expeditions throughout Persia, such as the Boroudjerd expedition and the Shiraz expedition. Even though the battles were bloody and Swedish officers were at serious risk in Persia, many decided to join the gendarmes attracted by better pay and opportunities than in Sweden.

Denmark would receive 8 M4A3E4 Shermans in April 1952, and these would go to the Tank School at Oksbøl. These Shermans hold the title of being the first official tanks of the Danish Army. The shipment of Shermans led to some friction between the two nations, as the Danes were really only interested in more modern options. M47 and M48 Pattons were unavailable, but in 1953, the US offered to pay for the delivery of British Centurions instead. This was accepted by Denmark, making delivery of any more M4s redundant. Civil Protection,[8] also referred to as the Metro Police,[1][9] is the Combine's oppressive human police force in all Combine-controlled urban areas on Earth, including City 17. Its officers are named "Metro Cops",[1][2][3][10] while the spelling "Metrocops"[11] is also used. "CPs"[8] is mostly used by Citizens and Resistance members to refer to Metro Cops. The entity uses "Metropolice" (the original term),[12][13] and the subtitles use "MetroPolice". The Overwatch Voice simply uses the term "Officer" or "Protection Unit" in the singular and "Protection Team" in the plural.[8] It is implied to be related to an organization referred to as the Combine Civil Authority,[14] while the Ministry of Civil Protection is also mentioned.[10]

After a request from the Storting for Swedish cooperation to repeal the Act of Union, delegates from both countries convened at Karlstad on 31 August. The talks were temporarily interrupted along the way. At the same time, troop concentrations in Sweden made the Norwegian government mobilize its army and navy on 13 September. Agreement was nevertheless reached on 23 September. The main points were that disputes between the countries should in the future be referred to the permanent court of arbitration at The Hague, that a neutral zone should be established on both sides of the border, and that the Norwegian fortifications in the zone were to be demolished. Both parliaments soon ratified the agreement and revoked the Act of Union on 16 October. Ten days later, King Oscar renounced all claims to the Norwegian crown for himself and his successors. The Storting asked Oscar to allow a Bernadotte prince to accede to the Norwegian throne in hopes of reconciliation, but Oscar turned this offer down. The Storting then offered the vacant throne to Prince Carl of Denmark, who accepted after another plebiscite had confirmed the monarchy. He arrived in Norway on 25 November 1905, taking the name Haakon VII.
