My first cat, the one who taught me I wasn’t just a “dog person,” the sweet girl we adopted from the shelter when she was 8 years old, almost 10 years ago, passed away. She had a good life, died peacefully, but I am a mess. She was the best girl. Below is my daughter’s IG post; it was perfect.
