Tractor loaded up and ready to roll to my friend's house The front tire on this side just needs air - we knew the one on the farside was toast But the backtires look good, they both just need some air! Absolutely no trouble getting it onto the tow deck, it was exciting to see it moving again even if it's not under it's own power
The arms and strapped onto the tractor so the tow company that is coming to get it can transport it more easily My ex has taken them off to upgrade them but in a other untreated bipolar episode abandoned the whole project Even when I was younger and healthier, I don't weigh enough to push down on the clutch and would have to pull myself down on the wheel Now post my foot being crushed, I could never drive this again and my kids have no interest in it I could have sold it, but selling farm equipment as a woman is a nightmare. Plus my friends son is a great kid, and its going to be a fantastic project for him He's promised me photos after he gets it all cleaned up, running well & painted He's excited to be entering it into local fairs too 🥰 So much better than some old guy who was going to strip it for parts (it runs fine) or it continuing to sit out in the weather & be in the way of walking the dogs for me

Before where I just had the landscape fabric down and 2 of the same variety of yews I picked up from someone in the city I've set down the 3 larger yews where I want the holes for them dug I bought all the yews last year but we just couldn't get around to it, and I stored everything in it's pot in the ground Same with this spring, too many small jobs that needed doing first (like constant repairs to the lawn mower), but I finally got a kid with some time and in everything went! I used the drill & auger for the smaller plants I got from BambooPlants.ca last year

Peachy pink begonia bloom the size of my hand I'm not sure the variety but I tried starting 10 of these, at not unsubstantial cost, only to have all but 2 corms not sprout Then it was horribly slow growing, despite starting it indoors and very early it only recently bloomed Then for the longest time it didn't look any nicer than the begonias I bought as annuals 1 of the 2 that made it are finally showing what it should have been all along, while the other still has very small blooms

7 of the potentilla, these ones bloom yellow and the flowers stay yellow (there is one that fades to orange), I'm hoping it's not too yellow against the house but these are nice fluffy shrubs that shouldn't get too tall The ones closest to the east will probably grow quite slowly by comparison to the ones on the west corner, so I'll just have to keep on top of trimming them while they grow The plan for now is once the honeysuckle is moved to sink the pots where they'll go, and just see how they do That way I can easily pull them out next year and put them somewhere else if they really hate their spot I was visiting someone elses garden and she had a lot of mature ones, and some where in fairly shady spots, so I am hopefull Plus I've had other things that want lots of sun (like that honeysuckle) do well in this space, just slow Bamboo Plants absolutely looks like the scammiest website, but I've been incredibly happy with their pricing & plant quality I got a huge order from them last year to This was a 10-pack of turbo plants, one of my friends took 3 of them for her garden 7 is more than I need for this space, but I will either make the hedge extra thick, or I'll find another spot in the garden for 3 of them Or just have extras if one goes
Plastic wooden looking barrels filled with african daisy I've planted crimsons rambler morning glory (the wide leaves) as well as a white cypress vine which really hasn't grown much in any of the containers So I don't know if this is going to work at all, it would have been pretty minius the daisy that aren't supposed to be that colour! Might have to try earlier next year

5'+ tall honeysuckle that blooms yellow in the spring, that I've trimmed into a tree form It's a nice enough shrub, but it's FAR too big for the front of the house, I've always wanted to replace it but especially because the front of my house is north facing I've never figured out what I can put here I'm going to try some potentila I'm not sure it's going to be happy since it will be lower light that it wants, but they max out at about 3' with a yellow flower so will look nice here if I can get them to grow Got them in a group buy with some girlfriends from Bamboo Plants that I haven't posted about yet because I really need to pot them up, I'll do it tomorrow

Sorry I've got this upside down, but the wider base of the petal is of course what is attached to the base of the flower Then you've got the seed, and attached to that is the little 'flyer' portion The only reason keeping them together would be a problem is if you're starting dahlias indoors in cells vs broadcast sowing Only then because you're more likely to have more empty cells
