JULY 11 FUNDRAISER @ DAYBREAK STAY TUNED for more details on the in-person fundraiser that will take place on July 11th. We’re very grateful for the support to date from our community online and we have a day of surprises and fun planned for everybody in order to celebrate the community that keeps space alive and makes it the unique place it is!
Our current goals in our fundraising is as follows: ✅Goal 1 (3,000USD): Survive (rebuild emergency reserves, cover operating expenses) (GOAL REACHED) - Goal 2 (10,000USD): Sustain (support low-cost and grassroots community events, workshops, activism) (CURRENT GOAL) - Goal 3 (10k+) Grow (improve the space, expand support for new initiatives)
OUR EXPENSES Again, Daybreak is an entirely volunteer-run space and, in order to allow for more accessibility, we aim to keep costs low. We are NOT a for-profit business, never have been, and never will be! Our current expense breakdown is as follows: On average per month, 80,000 NTD is spent on: rent (40k), utilities, repairs, taxes (15k), bar inventory (15k), profit sharing + outgoing donations (10k).
