Clairwil @newosity.com · Dec 13 Blather! Here’s Texas requirements to obtain a Real ID or Real ID drivers license. Texans can only have one of the Texas IDs. The list of required docs is huge; also it could block female voters with a last-name change after marriage or divorce.

TxDOT uses the ID requirements to enforce extraneous issues. If driver owes toll fees they can be blocked from renewal. If car can’t pass registration, no ID for you. If your car insurance lapses, no ID for you! That has nothing to do with proof of identity.
