The platform being 1000 feet from the Mid America Airport terminal entrance is a shame. Lack of sidewalks and signalized crosswalks is a slap in the face and dangerous. The $100M for this could have done so much for for transit users elsewhere in St. Clair County.

This whole extension project doesn't make sense. Limited Metro ridership to an airport that doesn't even come close to the same passengers as the main airport. Very little about it makes sense
