How especially cruel to leave a husky/malamute with their thick coats in the hot sun.
I still see dogs chained up in the hot sun in southeast USA, drives me crazy. No shelter provided, no freedom to seek it, just 100% ignorant cruelty
that poor pup's former owners should be locked up in the same conditions and see how they fucking like it

Really wonder who the hell thought bringing Huskies to South East Asia was a good idea in the first place. It's a popular breed in the Philippines as well but these dogs don't belong in tropical countries. They can't exercise properly, can get heatstrokes, need AC all the time...makes me so mad.

What an amazing transformation. I remember her story well. Iris was so lucky to have been rescued & nursed back to health by you all. And she was even luckier to find a loving home (with air con and a dog sibling). I sincerely hope she has a permanent smile on her face no matter what she does 🐾 🥰.

I remember the day you posted her rescue, she was absolutely soaking wet and I didn’t even realise she’s a husky. Look at her now, Iris looks beautiful and more importantly she’s happy ❤️

The "doesn't look like the same dog" part is the whole story of street rescue. Most of the time it isn't a medical miracle, just steady food, shade and a deworming tablet. Iris was always that dog. She was just starving. Brilliant work.
She was badly treated by her previous ownners, the poor thing.
