I cannot stop crying. I am at lunch at work. Tears are truly flowing and nose is stuffed up now. Grateful and sad.
Ugly crying right now. My family dog is getting near end of life and we are trying to figure out how to explain all this to her sister. They are a bonded pair and the older one has been there for the entirety of th younger one’s life. Cries about this in therapy today too I don’t know what to do

Your work is so fabulous, I envy and admire you. I’m a wimp. When I see a dead squirrel or skunk on the road I tear up. Your dog rescues break my heart. Tofu generated endless responses. It occurred to me that equally heartbreaking stories about children do not receive the same compassion. Why?
